Absolutely. The mind is wat directs our actions. If we concentrate our minds on what we want no matter how difficult it seems, success will eventually be had. But then again, I think you know this deep down inside. and if you have a shadow of a doubt, I will remove it.

Absolutely. And I believe in the power of humor to heal.
Negative thinking creates self-fulfilling prophesies. Positive thinking builds the impetus for positive outcomes. That doesn't mean that positive thinkers always get everything they work for but they are much less often disappointed than negative thinkers. With failure a positive minded person can say they did their best. The person with a positive outlook will be much more likely to try again. The negative person quits trying.
You are a product of your thinking.

Positive thinking leads to positive actions which when coupled with opportunity and wisdom can definitely yield a positive outcome. Disappointment is a fact of life but it can also be a motivating factor which reminds us to hold firm to our right thinking while refusing to give up. Positive thinking allows us to maintain a hopeful attitude and that's a really great thing. Nothing can stop a person who is traveling through life on this road. Hold on to your positive thinking and as a great motivating speaker once said "I'll see you at the top!"
Our thoughts have amazing power but they can bear no fruit unless a person does something with them.

I find that very rarely do I not get what I set my mind on and focus on working towards.
We are all energy, and i believe the mindset you take does ultimately affect the outcome; however there are larger forces at work in the universe; sometimes these other forces may be stronger than our positive energy, or maybe the things we're wishing for are just not meant to happen right now for reasons to be divulged and understood later. There is a reason for everything, there is no coincidence.

Positive thinking yields positive results, yes. You can also learn to be helpless with the same attitude. Self-fulfilling prophecies are a mutha...
Here's a trick: Always expect the worse, that way you're never disappointed.

Thinking positive produces a sense of satisfaction at least at that moment. I believe that when a person can feel satisfied that the result is satisfactory and at the same time positive. It is when there is no positive thoughts that we loose the satisfaction in life and become disappointed.

I would say yes. But power of the mind is not always a positive thing. We need to balance out the positive thoughts with realistic thoughts as well. If you do not have that balance then you set your self up for failure by not being prepared for the worst. Just like any thing, balance is good!

I believe that if you have ENOUGH positive thinking you will get some posotive results, although most of the time you WILL end up disappointed. It's just a part of life that's unfair and you have to deal with it somehow.

Yes, I believe in positive thinking and I think that the best results in life are achieved when you tell yourself you can do it. No matter what it is (as long as the goal is realistic) if you have the self belief and determination, you can get there. I think that's why we have so much confidence when we are teenagers and just starting out in life, because life hasn't knocked us, that's why I think its important that people follow their dreams while they are still young enough to chase them with out fear of failure. As we get older we fear failure more because experience has taught us that we cant always succeed. But good positive thinking can help a great deal, at any stage in life.

Like attracts like. People are magnets, so whatever your mind wants, it gets. Good and bad. When you focus on what you don't want, guess what, you get more of what you don't want. Focus, truly on what you want and that will happen. When you turn your mind around you turn your circumstance around. Case in point, my house was on the market for a year and a half because I was thinking "why in the hell won't this house sell". One day I looked in the mirror and told myself, this house is sold and I totally believed it. Two days later my realtor told me I had a buyer. One month later, sale completed. the universe is ready to comply, good and bad, might as well be good. Be ready for the good, it's there.
