I don't live in your area but......

You don't want the best investment company in Houston. You want the best company for you! These are not just cute words. The most important part of this process is the communication between you and the company/broker.

2nd suggestion;
Don't bother answering any solicitations you receive because of this question.

Good luck! (Interview at least 5 companies before making a choice). Consider the low expense companies like, Schwab, Fidelity, Vanguard & T.Rowe Price. They may (may is the important word) have programs for your needs. Cutting costs is an important part of this process. Run away from anyone that starts by talking about annuities.
