Were you forced to watch it cuz you have no friends & that's all you had to do? Because I'm sure w/your VERY high IQ no-one could measure up to your standards of intellegence! So turn on the Discovery channel & shut your trap! OR have you already learned everything there is to learn? Why don't you go to a better topic & ask questions instead of Soaps?

Why were u forced to watch it? I'm in the 2nd highest IQ bracket & I've been watching soaps since I can remeber. Its a great ecscape, it just makes one laugh. My sister is so proud that she was born the day Y&R first aired 3/26/73 & claims she & my mom watched the first episode toghether!!! All soaps are silly, but fun!

Just started watching it on a regular basis last fall, but it IS getting moronic thanks to the no-talent writing skills of one Lynn Marie Latham and her cronies. Jack Smith and Kay Alden did a so much better job in the Bill Bell era.

I am a highschool math teacher. I watch it AND I enjoy it. Yes, the storyline is a little far fetched at times...it is entertainment, it is not reality. We, who have an IQ over 75, realize this.

My IQ is only 138 but I started watching it when my grand-daughter was born. She had an underdeveloped esophogus and had to be watched very carefully for 6 weeks after she was born. I took off work to stay with her and I got hooked. It is dumb, but there is no Y&R recovery group.

I'm familiar with some of the Y&R characters but never really watched it like that. And I'm sure people with that IQ and higher watch...

I have been watching it since I was 9 years old. It is a very good show. My favorite anyway. You have to watch more than 1 episode to get what is going on.

Nobody can force you to do anything unless they are holding a gun to your head, so i suppose you have a choice.
Now to answer your snobby question , I have an IQ of 132 and I watch it . Take your holier than thou attitude and change the channel.

I love Phyllis but I hate that she's trying to force Daniel into raising Lucy. Normally she's one of my . favorites. I love her digs at Sharon. My favorite couple is Katherine and Murphy OMg they're so cute together!!! Whenever they are together I think of the song "At last" by Etta James.

I don't see how you could be forced to watch the show...and it's not moronic...it takes you away from the drama of real life...
