I have AHCCCS and I just found out that they don't pay for the circumisions on any baby boys down here. Please help if you know roughly how much it is going to cost.

Call the pediatrician you've chosen and ask them what they charge. My son's, 4 years ago, cost about $150 in Idaho.

Care for the circumcised penis is greater than care for the uncircumcised.
I suggest you go to the forums listed below and READ and educate yourself on this awful awful procedure. It's not even medically necessary!
I also suggest you watch one being done. If you can watch it and not feel anything at all, go ahead and do it by all means. But to willingly and knowingly let your own flesh and blood undergo such a thing would be beyond me....
But PLEASE RESEARCH!!! It is something that is much less common than people think. In California it's almost never done, as it's unethical for Dr's to do so. You couldn't just walk into a doctor and request amputation of your arm. No right-minded doctor would ever do such a thing, and that's the stance on circumcision right now. Just please read these forums...ask questions about it. I faced similar questions about my own son and am so SO glad we left him alone....
