All of the carvings on the walls on your way throught he temple into the ride! I was told that Disneyland used to hand out pamplets letting you know what the symbols meant!

Anyone else heard of this? This would also be in Disneyland in California!

And how can I get one?

YES!

In fact, that was part of the ride experience. AND it made a lot of sense when the line was LONNNNNG too. You'd have plenty of time to decode things here/there that the imagineers put into the ride.

Nowadays, they don't do any of that added experience stuff there, but you can see the decoder card and print it so you can bring it with you next time you go. Here's a link to a decoder card.

If you don't want to wait until you go back, I've included a link below for all the translations.

Hope that helps!

When the ride first opened, Disneyland did indeed give out cards which would allow you to read the symbols on the walls. It was a clever promotion, because it gave people something to do while waiting in line (and the lines were LONG in those days). If you visit the following website, you will find that they have posted what all of the symbols mean:

You can print this information out and take it with you. You might also want to visit Disneyland Town Hall (near the entrance) and ask them for a copy of the decoder. I don't know for certain whether or not they'll be able to provide you with one, but I've gone to them for other print-outs and information before, and they've always been able to help me.

Regardless, I hope you have a great time at Disneyland. Good luck!

All it could be is just advertising, parts of the story, legends, or what the ride is. I've been on the ride but I've never seen or heard of markings or pamphlets telling you what they are. Look on Wikipedia, which is what I'm gonna do right now.

EDIT: Found it!!! Look at the link below.
