What activity should I give to a class of highschool students that deals with pregnancy and pregnancy outcomes??

Teachers have used the exercise of having students role play being a parent of a Baby for a week. This means caring for a doll 24 hours a day for a week. They are required to perform all activities which are required to keep a baby happy and healthy. This activity take a lot of planning but can be very effective.

Could you invite a single mother (unmarried and young) to come and speak to the HS kids about the torments of bearing a child into the world without the stable and essential support system of a husband and inlaws? It would have to be a special young lady, but someone in your area maybe up to it.
Look in the white pages/yellow pages for shelters and crisis pregnancy homes.

if you don't have a doll (which can be expensive), how about a 5lb sack of flour or an unboiled egg.
