1mb............? your kidding right
even 1 mp3 is usually at least 3mb
songs are usually 2 mb per minute but then again it all depends on the bit rate.
video? it all depends on how its been encoded/compress
most movies (full length movies) after compression start at 500mg and go up to usually 800mg but can reach 4-8gb (dvd vob direct copy)
and thats for a non cartoon movie (cartoons are easier to compress due to simple colors) cartoons can be crammed into 300mb files.
of course it all depends on how detailed the movie was before compression , the compression and the length of time the movie lasts.
LOVE the thumbs down.

A 1MB stick? None.
You probably mean 1gb then. In that case, if you're using 128 kbps MP3s, which are pretty standard, you should be able to hold 250 songs. As for hours of video, using decent compression (I'm no expert on video though) you ought to be able to pack three hours or so of good quality video on it.

1mb... maybe one very very low quality or an average size pic.
1GB.. depends on compression technology used and how much compression vs sound quality you use. An average would be at a guess roughly 400. Pictures? Again depends on how big they are... perhaps upto 1000 or so if they arnt particularly high quality...
