The natural state of people is freedom. It is also one of our strongest impluses. Throughout history, people have rebelled against tyrants, even when they lived in a fairly "gilded cage".

You can't "impose" freedom on people. It is their natural state of being. Living under a dictator is the unnatural state of affairs. Would you say, "Oh, that Abraham Lincoln imposed freedom on those poor African slaves. He is so mean. How dare he impose freedom on those people?"

We have already liberated two Middle Eastern countries from different forms of dictatorship. When Iraq voted for a President, several articles were written in the Middle East about how a new feeling has arisen there. It is like their own "Berlin Wall" has fallen. People can feel a change, and they attribute it to Iraq.

We don't impose freedom on them. We offer freedom to their brethren there by sapping power from the warlords. It is the warlords/priest that hate US. It was the same reason the Christian church hated the printing press. It is about power. The religious over currents is a cover scheme.

If your talking about Iraq, the majority of people there WANT freedom, but its the jihadist goons who go around claiming they are protecting there religion from the "evil bush troops."

They want freedom...it's the terrorists who don't want it because it threatens there whole way of life. Attacking someone's faith is almost as dangerous as attacking them physically.

That's a good one.

Then there's the other side of that. How do you impose freedom? Isn't that an oxymoron?

People who support Bush have no concept of history. Conquered people only accept your policy if they are all dead. "People should know when they're conquered. " "Would you Quintas? Would I ?"
-Gladiator.

Americans had their start as terrorists. Consider the history and the truth.

Nothing will make them love us, as obviously you already know. They are closed minded fools, and like children, they don't know what's best for them.
