John Owen "Chief" Wilson. In 1912, he hit 36 triples on the season, and hit a triple in 5 consecutive games (June 17 through 20). When he played for Pittsburgh Pirates Both still records. 24 of the 36 were hit in Pirates home field at the time Forbes Field.
