Our young Daughters are being told on a constant basis by the media that they have to be a certain way. I'm just fed up with it! What can we do?

I really don't think they would done that to a "white" winner. Clarkson, Underwood, and about 5 more were heavy and they didn't get any flack over it.
I think some people still have a problem with mixed race kids and Meme Roth may be one of those people; and I think that's why she went on national television and publicly attacked Jordin. Why else would a fully grown woman attack a 17 year old about 25 or 30 pounds?

Jordin rocks no matter what whether shes overweighted or not. She has a special voice and its the beauty thats inside not outside which is her beautiful voice sung at the bomttom of her soul

Jordin is still a teenager, she'll get that weight down, eventually cause its just baby fat anyway.

I voted for Jordin and think she is a pretty and talented teen. However, I worry like many other healthcare workers that her obesity will influence young girls to think it is okay to be obese. High cholesterol, blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes is in the future for her. I'm sure she will trim down in the near future!

The ones who think she is overweight are morons. In case you didn't notice she is tall. She is not overweight at all. Overweight is Lakisha Jones and even she looked good on the show. I agree what is this world coming to? So Stupid. Whatever!

Tyra Banks has come out with a "so what" policy.....so what if you weigh too much, or your boobs aren't big enough. I think it is great. She is really helping to build up the moral of our younger girls. My daughter watches her and she totally agrees.

Simple...nothing...honestly there is nothing we can do but teach or children of family that the media is a bunch of bullcrap and not them fall for it...teach them that they are beautiful how they are...thats about it
