Java is Java, and AutoCAD is for CAD, you need to study and qualify before they will even consider hiring you, not a case of which is easier, more like Java is your only choice.

I think the answer to this depends on the person learning either of the two languages/applications. I have learned how to use both Java and AUTOCAD, though I have found more of an interest in Java and have seen more of a demand for Java in the market today, and it is also more in the area(s) I am interested in. In more areas like mechanical design, AUTOCAD would be seen as more in demand, though there are other applications that are taking rise over AUTOCAD. Overall though, between mobile technologies, internet applications, and other devices having embedded software capabilities, I would still have to lean towards Java being a more in-demand language. I would therefore recommend that if you like to program. If not a programmer, take auto cad.

Java is a computer language which is used to move data to a place where it can be saved, or to a webpage where it can be viewed or to break the data apart so that it acts like a real world process ... all about manipulation of data ...good if you have a logical mathematical mind
AutoCAD is a graphical tool which allows you to create drawings and pictures which describe either the real world directly (like the layout of a factory floor) or more abstractly (like an engineering simulation) ... good if you have a more visually creative mind
If you have a logical and creative mind it will help in both.
Java may get you hired as an entry level programmer. CAD may get you hired as an entry level draftsperson/CAD tech.
Golden rule...pick what you would prefer to do ...
If you like what you do, you will be good, and you will find a job

I would go for the java programming. It would have more uses in a wider area. I took Autocad training. It is a great program. But, it's overall areas it is used is much less than Java programming.

I am a Spanish speaker as well, and I did find it difficult learning to read and write in Spanish. I suggest purchasing a Bible in the Spanish language as a start, just because if you have one in English text it's easy enough to use cognates. Another thing you should also remember, since you currently speak Spanish is that when words are spelled out in Spanish, they are spelled the way they sound. For what you are looking for I do highly suggest taking college courses, if you have the time and software is decent if it has a variety of the words that differ in the Spanish speaking community, because Mexico and Spain and much of Latin America has many different words for the same thing.

Java is the easiest to learn since it is a programming language.
But if you are planning on going in the engineering fields AUTO CAD is more in demand.
