Lately I've been noticing that mp3s on my computer increase then decrease in volume a few times while playing each song. I thought it was a problem with windows media player so I tried a few other mp3 software programs and have the same problem. Any ideas on why my music fades in and out like this? I believe this is a recent problem. Never seemed to notice before. Any help would be appreciated. Arigatou.

If you still have that music on your computer, great, you can upload it again, next, take the lid off the back of the MP3 player and take the battery out and check it, if it reads in the lower part of the yellow or even in the red, insert a fresh battery, problems solved.

I've had the same problem. I'm running Windows media player v11. The only thing that seemed to help some was to play the songs in the Library view (as opposed to Now Playing view). Also adjust the graphic equalizer. Don't pay too much attention to the labels on the different presets, just find one that sounds good with most songs. Good luck.

If you have iTunes, you can go to options and turn it off
