Is it setting a bad example to let Paris Hilton get house arrest? I say it is, and it is unfair. Wow, house arrest. She can stay at home for nearly a solid month and do everything from swim, watch tv on the flat screen, etc. and not leave. How many other criminals or people sentenced to jail get that? NONE. Good lord. Any opinions?

As an American Citizen, I am outraged that Paris Hilton got released out of prison early. Why is it when Celebrities Sin, they get away with their wrongdoing and does not affect their reputation but when Everyday People Sin, the society around us has a field trip and Everyday People reputation gets hurt.

In answer to your questions,

First, Paris Hilton getting House Arrest is WRONG. Hilton lives on a four acre estate in California and does not have to pay a dime for living there. She has access to swimming pools, lots of open space, maid service, and gets to eat the best food in the world while the everyday person does not live in luxury, we live in very little open space, we have to cook and clean our own houses, and we eat what we can afford.

Second, the rest of society that are NOT Celebrities DO NOT get special privileges. Supposal Hilton had a Nervous Breakdown which I believe is a BIG FAT LIE and Hilton is just making it up so the does not have to live in prison. When the rest of society has a Nervous Breakdown in prison, they do not get released from prison early.

What Paris Hilton did WAS WRONG. But when celebrities like Hilton drive drunk and get arrested, it does not affect their career but when everyday people who drive drunk get arrested, it affects their reputation and they can LOSE THEIR JOB. Hilton was put on Probation but since Hilton thinks she is better than everyone else, she should not have to obey the law. If everyday people did, they would have to sever their whole prison sentence and would not be allowed to have House Arrest. I strongly believe that House Arrest is WRONG for Hilton because she still has Access To The Outside World with the internet, seeing friends and family, and get to sleep in a comfortable bed with maid service. I believe that All Americans, not matter what your status of social class is and no matter if you are the everyday person or a celebrity, THE LAW should be the same to everyone and Celebrities should not get special treatment because they have more money and more status than us.

I think that this is a bad idea since she lives in a big mansion, and she can invite all her friends and have a huge party. There is no point to it. But, if she had medical issues in jail, I think that there would be a hospital there or some sort of facility where they can treat her. Fortunately, Paris knows that she has to serve her time in jail because she knows what she did was wrong and she doesn't want to influence other people.

This indeed is setting a very bad example, the judge in this case did not allow this to happen, her excuse for getting out is so laim I don't even buy it, when a judge says that she MUST spend an X number of days, in this case 45 days in jail, then she must that time in jail. No exceptions. Spending time in her home serves no purpose and doesn't even punish her. She must return to the jail house.

The other inmates should have the same benefit, just to make things fair. A month in jail would have done her a world of good. Betcha she is going to get caught doing exactly the same thing that sent her to jail, before the month is out.

If she had so many mental health problems she couldn't stay in the jail she was in, she should have served her time in a psychiatric wing of the jail. If I were her mother, I'd be so ashamed of myself right now. It makes Leona Helmsley and Martha Stewart look good.

they might desire to the two drop her down the Black hollow of Calcutta or by making use of parachute into Baghdad! With an indeterminate sentence, and no possibility for parole, reprieve, or pardon! On 2d theory basically deliver her to my living house and that i will guarantee she gets punished appropriate!
