I personaly disagree with statutory rape if i was the law maker ill call it child molestation and add a new word called asolesent molestation. Also ill make the age of majority and drinking 20 not 21 and the age in which you dont need your parrents permission 20 not 18 because i feel when you are a teen ager you still need parrental control.I will make the age of consent 16 instead of 18.WHAT LAWS WILL YOU CHANGE IF YOU WERE A LAW MAKER,SENATOR,POLITION,SUPREME COURT JUDGE OR PRESEDENT?

Yes. Legalize pot. I don't smoke it, and never will, but if it has some medicinal qualities, legalize it and tax it.

I do believe that there should be one age---probably 18---where a person has all the adult rights/responsibilities. register for the draft, be charged with a felony, drink, smoke, screw, whatever.

Marijuana should be de-criminalized. Driving should be a right, not a "privelege". Any one who harms a child ought to be put away for a long, long time. maybe all of it. Medical, dental and psychiatric care should be accessible to all who need it. Gasoline should be taxed more, and alternative fuels found. (as jimmy carter suggested in 1978, and anderson suggested in 1980.) George W Bush ought to be given a break from the stuff people say about him, and should have a new job. i should find a cool girlfriend, who becomes a wife. And every once in a while, people ought to burst into a song and dance thing like those old musicals. And bill watterson ought to start doing "Calvin and Hobbes" again.

I would adjust the right to bear arms amendment. That law was for when you could meet up with a bear on the way to town. Rifles for hunting, fine. But handguns, I'd make ppl take a 3 month safety course and have a good reason for wanting one. I'd also institute a mandatory background check and a waiting period during which they would take the 3 month course. Also no automatic weapons. Radical yes. I am just hoping for an end to little kids being shot while in bed or watching tv. Check out the murder rate in UK or Japan where no guns are legal, (I'm not sure about hunting rifles).

I think that 16 should be the official age where teens can actually move out of their parents' homes so that it wouldn't considered running away. 18's way too long to wait, and teens usually have a feel for independence, so it wouldn't cause parents so much trouble when they are being rebellious.

The right to have children. Maybe when the US is 1000 trillion dollars of debt, people will consider the impact of their choices on this generations and for generations to come.

As to your specific complaint, find someone older.
