Yup, my ex-honey did and we got it out with Resolve carpet spot remover, cost 3 or 4 bucks a can. Works really good. Which reminds me, let me go up to the store and get some Red Wine!!!

No, but my boyfriend spilled my blue curaco on the carpet when we first moved in to our place. Now the stain is under the couch!
I have gotten other stains out of my carpet before though, with a carpet stain remover spray, but it also lightened those areas a bit. It still looked better than with the stain though.

As long as the carpet is kempt,
properly-trim and clean, why, I've
been known to just lap it right up.
The wine, anyway.
The carpet pretty much stays in tact, despite a little ruffling.

Best thing you can use to get red wine stains out is white wine, sounds crazy but it works.

OH YES...MY CARPET WAS NEW!!!!!
Club soda...takes it right out! Pour it on the stain...then blot with a towel..do not rub. If you have to add more club soda and keep blotting it will come right out. It works great, but it must not be flat..so if you have to get a new bottle.
Ciao!
