Are the Democrats going to give America to al-qaeda?

Based on what the Senate Judiciary Committee did today the Democrats are giving me every indication that if al-qaeda wanted Los Angeles as their new base in the US, the Senate would say okay.

When do you think the senate will get it, they are supposed to represent the States, not the terrorists.

So which port is the Senate going to designate a nuclear weapon introduction zone?

This guys have gone too far, first the travesty called amnesty and no this. Keep this in mind when you go to vote in 08, who is giving our country away to our enemies.

Will the military relinquish them? Seems like the as long as the military interests outweigh the civilian courts, they should be able to "just say no."

I'm fine with building an Isolated POW camp on US soil to house these monsters. I wonder if Obama will volunteer his family's home in Hawaii for a new supermax prison. Or we could retrofit Alcatraz for them. I'm sure Nancy Pelosi would like that. There's terrible unemployment in Puerto Rico. I bet they won't mind. Or maybe just send them up to one of the Aleutian Islands in Alaska. If the concern is just that having them on foreign soil side steps the justice system then I'm all for bringing them to a fully secure facility on US territory. They should be treated as any other POW. Which according to geneva convention regulations, Non-uniformed enemy combatants are considered spys and are to be executed. That would save us a lot of money.
