Yes from a brown paper bag from the grocery store. It had 5 sides ( the top tip was cut off to make another side.) The sticks made a kind of "X". We used sticks from shrubs or trees. Those kites flew very well. One windy day we tied the kite string to the fence when night came, and in the morning it was still flying. In fact it flew for more than two days.

Yes, I had it as a project back when I used to run a Cub Scout den. The kids liked doing it, and most even got off the ground!

It was fun.

Thanks for the great memory!! When we we're kids. We bought the kite but had to attach string and make our own tail out of bed sheets.

Yeah the materials consisted of me, paper, and lots of tape. Unfortunately, I didn't go very high when I jumped off the roof.

i tried with a 2 sticks, some duct tape, some string, and a peice of fabric... it kinda died, very dramtically.
