I'll give him a 7 out of 10 on this one. It has all the appearances of economic, celebrity worship and the hot-chick factor here. Remember Naomi Campbell? She should've served time for assault and she did 'community service'--yeah, while the officer 'in charge' was toting her purse around. Pretty wealthy women will get off--if the judge does too.

We will never get over racial issues when you have people constantly throwing fuel on the fire. Which is what Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson and Louis Farrahkan are all about.I am sorry but no religion that I am familiar with preaches hatred of anyone, especially based on the color of their skin. So what religion are these Reverends teaching? And why is it ok for people to rally behind them? I see more and more that more African Americans are far more prejudice than any Caucasian or any other race for that matter. There will never be equality or racial peace because too many want to hash out something they never had to endure. And what is this entitlement bs about? People need to stop seeing color and see people for who they are. It just so happens in this case that you can't look beyond it.

Could there be an occation in the life of teh grand Rev Al Sharpton when he does not try to play the race card? Paris' release had nothing to do with her lilly white skin. It had everything to do with her being a HILTON, and a spoiled little rich girl.
I would and could see the same treatment given to Paris today be given to her greatest side kick Nicole Richie

I hate to waste an answer on this, but you are not really correct. Sharpton has made some pretty outrageous comments in the past, and I disagree with about 95% of what he says and does, but he has said a couple of meaningful and correct things before. I cannot remember what they were, but I do remenber seeing him on Leno one night and agreeing with something he said.
And yes, it does sound like economic favoritism, but then we are talking about the land of O.J.Simpson and Robert Blake. I am surprised she was sentenced to jail at all. As far as racial favoritism, blonde bimbo is not a race.

I was just thinking the same thing!
I imagine he could hit the right note every once in awhile.
It would be wonderful if he could be in accordance with reason more often.

Most drunk drivers don't serve full terms or even serve at all. DUI laws in America are a joke.

First time for everything, I guess.
Sharpton is a bright guy, but he sure gets behind some dumb things.
