You can leave it in if you want to but I usually change because I don't like that wet string down there.

No, you just leave it in there. It should be high enough so that when you do pee it doesn't get wet from the urine and it helps when you remove it to be seated on the toilet (with the lid of course) or squat, grab the string and while your pulling it out "push" with your uterine muscles like your taking a pee. This helps to push the Tampon out especially if your new to it. Good Luck baby girl!

you should change it every 2-4 hours , base it on how heavy your flow is. If you have a heavy flow you will need to change it more frequently if it is lighter probably every 4 hours. Do not leave in longer then 8 though, you can get toxic shock syndrome. ( really bad- you get very sick) . I would also recommend not sleeping with it, try a panty liner or a pad..

You can leave it in there, but most women take it out and change it. You don't want to leave a single tampon in you too long, it can cause a lot of complications, the least of which is an overflow.

I usually take it out after I pee because I don't want to risk getting an infection or bacteria and I only wear them during the day if I'm away from home otherwise I'll wear a pad while I'm home or at night.

You leave it in when you pee. Urine comes out of your urethra, not your vaginal opening. You will need to change it every few hours. If you have a heavy period, you will have to change it as needed.
