Why do they keep making these pointless commercials? Its not like these commercials are actually gonna make people quit smoking. All they're doing is wasting time and money making these commercials.

I agree, I freaken HATE those commercials, they make me want to smoke more

You know what they should do?! They should do something like the lysocl commercials, instead of saying how bad it is have commercials with tips on quitting smoking! Household Quitting Smoking Tip #1 Make a list of all of your most likely times to smoke, i.e. after you eat, before you eat, when you wake up, when you go to bed, in the car, when you first get out of the car, etc. etc. Then avoid smoking for twenty minutes before/after those trigger zones. Tip #2 Don't cut down, set a date, smoke as much as you want until that date but avoid smoking during trigger zones. Tip #3 Make a list of distractions to use during fits after your quit date, drinking water, playing video games, walking. Tip #4 Remember that a nicotine craving only lasts for about 5-15 minutes regardless if you smoke or not. Yup, I'd have all America quit by now! :)

Yes! I'm getting sick and tired of those commercials, too! It's not going to make ME quit smoking! In fact, I'm going to smoke that much MORE!!

The thing that gets me is those TRUTH commercials tell people to stop smoking but they are funded by cigarette companies.

no there not, and it's to prevent people to not even start smoking! not to make them quit. i don't even get why people smoke it's disgusting and ugly and it makes you look like a duesh.
