I agree and don't like it either. Cambridge University researched this very subject and found that the human mind does not read every word by itself but the word as a whole. The only important thing is, is that the first and last letter be in the right place. The majority of people can actually read the following, which is full of typographical errors. On q&a, we don't profess to be typing professionals and shouldn't be held to perfection. If our meaning is clear and the question is not silly or nonsensical, then answers that are just mean are not necessary. I bet you can read the following with no problem....
i cdnuolt blveiee taht I cluod aulaclty uesdnatnrd waht I was rdanieg. The phaonmneal pweor of the hmuan mnid, aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it dseno't mtaetr in waht oerdr the ltteres in a wrod are, the olny iproamtnt tihng is taht the frsit and lsat ltteer be in the rghit pclae. The rset can be a taotl mses and you can sitll raed it whotuit a pboerlm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe.

I usually slide right by such comments as they are impolite and often exclude the answer to the question. Have gotten quite a few Best Answer awards I did not expect from people with maybe less schooling or obviously struggling with the quixotic English language by simply responding to the intent, rather than the grammar. Lots of people who can't spell are CEO's of major corporations and can afford my rates for editing services as they had the ambition I didn't and are quite willing to support me for my lazy skill in exchange for polishing their presentations. Y!A is a major bartering system for mutual education and profit as well as fun, and guess what, my name is neither Webster nor attached to the award for typist of the year.

Absolutely, just answer the question and move on. There's no need to comment about things as trivial as this. Plus, it is insulting to the asker and that rude.
