Who do you talk to if no one else has a similar experience...and how do you stop being tortured by your own sense of right and wrong...its sucking me dry...and I trust no one...should I pick some random person? This is some heavy stuff too.

I don't need empathy...I need solutions...actions that will rectify a situation...not a pat on the back

You could talk to a psychologist or a counsellor. True, they may not have experienced what you have but they are trained professionals in the area of "heavy stuff" as well. And they can empathise with you regardless of whether they have experienced what you have. It will help getting it off your chest as well as getting strategies to deal with the issue and cope with the stress it appears to be causing you.

Good luck!!!

Talk to a Pastor or a counselor. I don't know what kind of heavy stuff you're talking about but, AA and NA are great meetings.
(Alcoholics & Narcotics Anonymous) The people there have been through a lot, seen a lot and done a lot and are very open to talk to you in confidence. It's a program that really works if you are willing to do the work. You can find these meetings on the net by putting in AA or NA in your city and state. It will tell you where all the meetings and times are. I hope some of this helps. I can tell you are ready to change and put this past you. I wish you the best.

first of all your hanging with the right people. if they dont have similar experiences, they arent stuck like you were, werent you, so you can now move on and remember the best times you have had and wonder how having then now would be like. you know the great memories, some with friends, some with family or some with strangers for those are what future memories should be based on, havent you, notice how people who are happy seem to have a great time.

Not random, just someone who is stable and has an open mind.
