I'd go see a psychiatrist. You're going to have to be cleared by a psychiatrist before you'll be allowed to go through with the operation.
You can try to "be" a woman by dressing and living your life as a woman for a year. If you still feel that you are really a woman trapped in a man's body, then you might qualify for the surgery.
What you're talking about is a big step. Be careful that you find an ethical doctor and really look inside yourself before you make any major decisions.

Being a woman is not all thats cracked up to be. Man leer and other woman are cadded. The heels suck, the periods blow, the cleaning and the cooking, child birthing. Wearing the clothes does not mean you are a woman. Sorry!

Oh okay. I watched a Tyra Show Episode on becoming a transsexual once. There is like a pill or something you take so it changes your hormones.

Man check out the "Shock Video" , foreign film, saw a sex change, where they showed a actual sex change operation, from man to woman. It was not pretty. all he got was his thing chopped off, he still looked like a man. watch that first and call me in the morning!!! Could it be that you are just an unhappy person either man or woman?

You can't 'become' a lesbian transsexual woman; you're either born one, or you're not one.
From your description, you are (or would like to be) a straight transvestite.
