Paris Hilton left jail early today after spending barely more than three days in a solitary cell, an early release that raised questions about whether the wealthy get special treatment from a star-struck judicial system.

How do you feel about it?

Do you think this will affect her fan base?

I am sick of this "American Justice" system! the fact that you can commit any crime (killing ex, molest kids, driving drunk, getting caught with illegals drugs, etc, etc, etc.) makes my blood boil. when it comes to justice, why the heck should the rich and the famous receive different treatment than regular citizens?

That is why I have started to dislike a lot of the famous and rich people from Hollywood, they can get away with almost anything just because they got the greens. What example the are giving to our society, especially our teenagers that unfortunately look up to them.

She committed a crime; SHE SHOULD MAKE THE TIME!

I think it's sad that the rich have privilage. Reportedly, she was on the verge of a mental breakdown.... What about all the people in jail that go through the same thing but can't afford a doctor to diagnose the condition and an attorney to press the issue? I think it is ridiculous. Now she's on house arrest, Meals prepared by a cook, served by a butler, bath drawn by a maid, access to the phone, computer, swimming pool and a $5000 bed... However will the poor thing survive on house arrest?

I think the judicial system that allowed this should be replaced with new judges and prosecutors and probation officers. Clean up the whole system.

Do I blame Paris for her total disregard for the law.....Yes but more so her parents which allowed this girl to become the lil B*tch she is.

Of course her Money and Fame had everything to do with her Release from jail. Now shes on 40 day house arrest.... Yeah right like she doesn't have enough to do at her house. Its a joke... you know if I went to jail for what she did, I would be sitting in there the whole time I was sentenced!! She got a get out of Jail Free Card, and she did pass go and she did Collect 2,000,000 $. MUST BE NICE!!

Paris Hilton is a celeb that lives above the law. It all was just a show to try an convince the public that the judicial system is fair.

It just goes to prove, once again, that money talks. Celebs will always be able to get away with anything they want. I was really surprised she had to do any time. I'm sure she knew she wasn't suppose to be driving. She should've had to pay the consequence like any other person. Of course, I never liked her anyway, but still. People are so worried about the message things like Barbies send to our kids, when they should be more worried about the judicial system.

I think it was the biggest B.S.
she got credit of check in jail little bit before midnight and cheack out a little after midnight. That count for 5 days in jail.
Now she is ordered back to court, please send her back to jail again. Just because she is Paris Hilton it doesn't mean she can have special treatment.

I am very upset she was released early. She has no right to be treated special just because she has money. She is spoiled and is in no way a beautiful woman.

This kind of stuff sickens me. A person who has done far less gets much worse penalties...and she spends two days in jail....BOOOOOOOOooooOOOOOO

If I were in her position I would have too much dignity and embarassment to 'pay off' the system. I'd serve my time. Shes weak and pathetis, she should be ashamed of herself. The whole world is going to hate her now. She MUST know how unfair what she did is (and that shes got off scott free) and she MUST know how unfair that is, and therefore what hatred it will spark. Doesn't she have a bRAIN? or is she that severly selfish and stupid....???????? God I hope she actually reads some of these things on these sights and gets a clue of what the world thinks.

Money talks and it was the reason that Paris Hilton was released. The balance of justice again tilted in favor of the rich.

The only reason she is out of jail is because she is rich. If i did something against the law, I would not get special treatment.
