x - 4y = -8
4y = x + 8
y = (1/4)x + 2.
This is a straight line of gradient 1/4 passing through (0,2).

It's going to be a straight line. Rewriting it in slope-intercept form gives:
-4y = -x - 8
y = (1/4)x + 2

So it's a line passing through (0, 2) with a slope of 1/4. the slope is positive, so it runs from the lower left to the top right.

if x = 0, -4y = -8, y = 2
if y = 0, x = -8

those are your y and x intercepts. draw a line through them.
