Sweetie, there really should be more to that connection with your spouse. I would advise you to be intimate with your partner rather than have sex, yet it will still leave her in a good mood. Entertain all of her meaningless conversations, listen intently and respond inteligently when she asks you a question. Point out all of her good traits sincerely tell her you appreciate her, highlight the good moments you all spend together. If you turn her on emotionally the physical connection may not need to be made, but if and when it does it will make it all the more pleasurable. Hope I helped!!

Why is sex the sole determination of their happiness?
I would probably have to go with sex/good mood although I don't like the idea of "doing it" just to make them happy. Sounds selfish on their part.

Depends on why you don't want to have sex. If you medically "can't" then I guess your spouse is going to have to get over it until something can be done...if any. (NOT all people can get "cured" with Viagra. But marriage is for better or worse...not for better or until I can't get any nookie anymore. Now I know why divorce rates are so high.

If your not in the mood and the other one wants it, why give in if it you are just laying there. One person getting pleasure while the other one is not-its not fair to either one.
If both of you are not going to be satisfied then why bother?
