I have a DVD ROM that can't read DVDs anymore. I already cleaned it, still nothing. How do i repair this?

First try and reload your CD for the DVD ROM if you have the CD that came with PC.If not see if you can find it in the program site,such as sonic or what ever make you have.If no luck replace it with internal or external.Best to just get a DVD burner if you burn movies.

The laser in your DVD may have gone bad. You may need to replace the drive.
