In a very bad division anything is possible.

Who thought the 2005 White Sox could last, but they did. I think the brew crew has the potential to last. They have the pitching they have the defense they have the bats, but what they need to have is an empty DL. When you get a list going that's when you need to question. In the division that the Brewers are in they have a good chance of taking the division, but as a matter of principle I don't take end of the season until the all star break. See how the team's doing in a month then start to worry.

The Brew Crew's start was unbelieveable, but i think they will definitely hang onto the division. One major thing that was a key to there success was solid pitching. They got a lot of quality starts out of there top 4, Sheets, Capuano, Suppan, and Bush. If you don't have pitching, you can't win, look at the Yankees who are solely depending on their bats to win games for them right now.

Their bats are alive too, right now its still in that time where b.a. are still bloated by the early season...but they will drop off eventually. But there young guys have played exceptional this year, and some are still getting into it. Hardy, Fielder and Braun are having great years...expect Hardy and Braun to fall off later in the season, but they will still put up good numbers, and Fielder showed his ability last year, and has proven it again this year. And Bill Hall who had a great season last year hasn't even started doing well this year. So I don't think they have to worry much about there bats as long as there starters stay healthy.

They have a decent bull pen, with Turnbow and Cordero ending games...so as long as half there starters don't get injured I think they'll definitely have a really good chance to take the weak division.

There is always a fall off after a great start, it happens for every team, every season who does have a good start. Pitchers begin to feel the fatigue in their arms, batters are adjusting after seeing the pitchers a couple times. NO team can keep up such a great start throughout the whole season, 162 games is way too long for any team to dominate anymore.....

I think that the brewers fast start was not a fluke. They have a lot of young talent, combined with more veteran players like Ben Sheets. I think that they will continue to do well through the end of the season, and will be carried by the younger players energy. But, if they get into the postseason i don't think they have much of a chance because of the inexperience of a lot of their players.

It was a fluke. They ran up there record playing under .500 teams and playing in what is arguably the worst division this year. As soon as they started playing the better teams they have been getting spanked. They are still probably the best team in the Central and will probably take the division but will be one and done in the playoffs.

the brewers are for real. with one of the best pitching staffs in baseball along with the bullpen they will dominate the central division. they have the hitting to compete with anybody and the defense to stop the heavy hitting teams. the only weak positions on the team is their outfield. if they can find some young talent they will be competing for the national league penant with the mets. but i see next year being their year.

No
But their division is weak.
When they go to the west and east get a little battered.
The majority of the games are in division so they should pull it off.
In a short series 5 games can also come in the roses
Keep the faith

its only june so far. it seems many teams have an excellent start only to collapse late in the season. who knows we'll have to wait it out and see. also as commented above the division is weak since there in with Hou, Stl, Cin.
