If you are worried then you NEED to go to the hospital. Even if you are parents are sleeping, you NEED to get them to go with your to the ER.

It sounds more like a period, but if you are worried then head to the ER.

Your period should be at a nice slow, constant rate. The brown was the sign of a start of your first period, so congrats :P overtime, you're period will become a full red but when dried will become a brownish shade. Talk to your mom about buying some pads. If you do sports, try tampons. Also, periods usually come at a regular time of a certain month. So start marking down your period days on a calander to look for patterns for your next period. CONGRATz!

If you are not expecting your period is there a chance you could be pregnant? If so you could be experiencing teh beggining of a miscarriage or other type of problem. If you are using more than a pad an hour or have lots of clotting I would suggest calling your doctor's office emergency contact or on call contact and discussing exactly what is going on. Your parents love you and if you are that scared and in pain then you should talk to them. I am sure they would prefer to loose some rest to save your health. Take care

Well i need some more info....could you posibly be pregnant? You need to wake up your mom. Take some motrin for the cramping it is the best. It is probably just a really bad period, but get your mom just in case.

If there is a possibility you are pregnant, then it could be a miscarriage or a tubal pregnancy and you HAVE TO go to the er now. Good luck.

Okay, that is freaky. First that doesn't sound normal, since you've been having your period for at least 5 years already. You should really wake your parents up, no matter how sleepily they sound. Tell them the problem about your period. You may need to go to the hospital and have a checkup.

I do not think you need to be at the ER. If you are sexually active, do a pregnancy test. Very important. Otherwise, some advil (ibuprofen) will lessen the cramps and the bleeding. You mentioned your folks are jet lagged. If you've just travelled, been ill, or been under stress, your period may be irregular and this might be what you are experiencing.

Because of the pain being pretty bad this definitely warrants waking your mom up and having this evaluated by a dr. I would recommend either an urgent care clinic if one is open, and if not then to the ER.

This can't wait hun, especially if the pain is bad enough to make you feel like you are going to pass out.

If it doesn't stop, you need to get help. That doesn't sound like a normal period, and could be something worse. Call your doctor (if the office is closed, there will be someone on call), or just go to the hospital. It doesn't matter if your parents are sleeping, you need to get help.

Ok, Calm down.
First thing you need to do, in the morning is to tell your mom that you might have started your period. Then she might give you a pad or a tampon. If your not sure on how to use it. ASK! don't be afraid. Right now since its night time. When you go to sleep get lots of tissue paper. and folding it neatly so its not uncomfortable, Then put it on the bottom of your underwear where your vagina is. Then in the morning Do as I told you.
I hope this helped

You really need to wake your parents and get to the doctors if it is not your period because it could be really serious.
