What would perform better: One GeForce 8800GTX 768MB or Two SLI'd GeForce 8600GTS 256MB? I know the price difference I'd just like to know which performs better and by how much. Also if you have any suggestions for other GPU's that are in the neighboring price range with good performance please let me know.

Should I get the 320mb or the 640mb 8800GTS? I assume you meant the 320's because the 640's are a little pricey.

Well hey dze why not just SLI a pair of 8800GTXs, I KNOW that would beat a single 8800GTX. Oh wait perhaps the guy DOESN'T have money growing on a tree in his backyard.

Anyway, to answer the question the 8800GTX will be better. As a general rule one sinlge expesnive card will outperform two midrange cards in SLI.
