It is by a duo called Waycross. They have a myspace page with the song on the page. The lead vocals are sung Ted Moxley and the backing vocals are done by Ben Stennis. They are currently unsigned; so I don't think they have released the song for sale.

As far as the lyrics go...

19 was the number on his back, voted captain of his highschool football team, made it all the way to state, had a scholarship to play down at tennessee, he could run, he could duck,he could throw, he could go, like you never seen...19

but on the day those twin towers came down, his whole life turned around, he told them all, yall i can't play ball there's war on now, so he marched right in,with a few good men and joined the marines...at 19

he's the boy next door, he used to carry your bag at the grocery store he's somebody's son in a hole with a gun in a foreign land, tryin to hold on to his american dream...19

there's a sniper out there, in the dark somewhere, and a soldier down, we need someone who can run and duck, and get him out somehow, won't one good man raise his hand and take one for the team...how bout you nineteen

they brought him home today, with a big parade, down on main street, ____________, a soldier gave a speach, he could run he could duck, he could throw he could go, he's the one who rescued me.....he said he could have played for tennessee...19

.....i can't remember one line in the last verse; so take a listen

19 is a song recorded by Waycross the artists are Ted Moxley-lead vocals/Guitar and Ben Stennis-harmony vocals/Guitar. They are as of yet an unsigned duet but somebody better snatch them up quick if they want a number one group. They are going places fast. Check them out at myspace.com/waycross

i do no longer care how previous it extremely is yet I even have by no potential heard any music from a video activity on the radio! i haevn't even heard songs from classic disney video clips on the radio so I could desire to place self belief in on line radio to hearken to them! the only songs on the radio r ones by potential of prevalent singers that the checklist labels pay the stations to play im so sick of the comparable 5 songs in a row we desire extra form & variety with music on the radio! we desire a non-on line radio station devoted to video games & classic disney music from each little thing as much as the ninety's im thinking like radio disney yet in common terms for previous disney songs even regardless of the undeniable fact that it is going to by no potential ensue! human beings could extremely hear the comparable previous over-rated & prevalent ideal 40 songs! i will admit i do like lots of the ideal 40 songs yet we desire extra form it sucks! it is why on line radio exists!
