This is NOT funny. It really happened in Paignton town centre when traffic was allowed to park in the main street. I was sat in my car with my husband and at the top end of the street the buildings jut out into the pavement by about 3-4 ft. A blind gentleman was walking along with a white stick in his right hand and a guide dog leading him to his left. The poor man walked slap bang into the wall, and was quite stunned. The dog tried to walk on.
My thought at that moment was 'is the dog blind too'. Are the dogs not trained to look to the inside edge of the pavement, or are they just trained to the edge of the pavement. I am still wondering.
