Realistically speaking - L6 and13 ... Olympics is every 4 years - so 2008 you won't make. 2012 is possible if you charge ahead and whizz through the levels 7 - elite and then get through all the states, nationals, internationals and World's championships at high 9 scores with your other olympic contenders, and beat them.Note by then you will be 18 - which is the old end of the age group of participants for gymnastics. By the 2016 Olympics you will be 23 and that is very hard to qualify at that age, vs 14 - 16 year olds ! All the best with your dream !

Not to sound pessimistic, but I think its too late, but it is also to late for me too. I am 15 and have been doing gymnatics for 10 years. And, im only in level 8. I watch all these other girls who are like 9 and in level 9 winning nationals and I know they have a chance. In order to go to the olympics I think you have to be like 12 and an elite or something rideculous. However, its a good dream to reach for.

You're probably right where you should be, but if you were my daughter I would say just to do it because you love it, but don't think about the Olympics because you'll miss out on too many great high school memories and possibly end up psycho.

No, it's not too late. If you keep trying really, really, really hard and dedicate all your time to gymnastics, you might, might have a shot. So many people dream of things and never fufill them. Keep trying, and never give up.
