I find it very odd that mens urinals are not private, are men embarrassed using these, women would not use toilets without cubicle, what happens if you get to see another man using it, isn't it embarrassing? whats that all about??
I am not on about using these for men to meet other men, I am just asking about them being used as they were intended.

well most men ain,t got nothing to hide ,well i havent anyway, there used to be courtesy panels in gents but in modern toilets there isn't, nothing to see anyway we just get on with what we are there for.i once went into gents in Bournemouth i came rushing out to check if i was in the right place yes it said gents ,so i went back in and walked past two lady cleaners they did not seem to be bothered so i wasn't either.

When I was younger, I felt weird going in urinals and would always prefer to use the toilet in a stall. Now that I'm older, it feels like using a urinal gives me a sense of brotherhood. It's a type of fellowship with man.

I am not sure if I can explain the reason, without offending some men who are inclined to think they are an Adonis, but I will give it a try.

Men are able to cup their hand over the top of their manhood ~~ in most cases, unless they have small hands, they are able to do this ~~ thus shielding it from being viewed by others.

I thought this was common knowledge amongst men. It was what we oldies taught our sons to do, from an early age.

Have things changed that much?

Men's rooms have both urinals for a quickie and an enclosed toilet for a not so quickie. Regardless, men don't seem to care if you walk in on them anyway. That is what makes them so cool. They just sort of turn and look at ya then carry on with their business.

Some use urinals, and some go to the stalls. It depends on the man. He could be shy, scared he won't measure up (like anyone cares!), or homophobic-as in worried someone beside him might be gay.

I'm shy, but I could care less where I piss. First available space for me!

My partner hates urinals, and won't use them if there is a toilet enclosed by a cubicle to go in instead!

It's only embarrassing if you have a small penis. It's normal for men to size each other up and show off their stuff.

It's like a car show.

If urinals were enclosed, George Michael wouldn't have anything to do when he goes to the park.
