As long as it's an executable, you can write it in whatever language you want (or of course in the DOS command language).

There's always the individual person's "Startup" folder, which runs an application when that person logs into a Windows machine. But this is for each individual (unless it's in the "All Users" Startup folder).

Other than that, there are a couple of registry entries. I've actually put the entries on 3 different lines, because it was not being displayed properly as an answer.

To always run an application at startup:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\
Microsoft\Windows\
CurrentVersion\Run

To run one time (and then the registry entry is removed):
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\
Microsoft\Windows\
CurrentVersion\RunOnce

I don't know what registry to edit or anything, but I do know of a program that will do the job for you. It is called WinPatrol; the program is truly a security program, not a programming one, but it does have the option to add autostart programs. Here is the link if you want to give it a try:

To my know-the way it is the only way. Why are you going into classic? i'm thinking approximately procuring it for one app I even have, even regardless of the undeniable fact that it does not seem properly truthfully worth the money for in basic terms the single element?
