Personally, I thought she should've stayed in jail and finish her days. Just letting her go that easily will not solve her "illness". Sometimes, people need to learn the hard way to be a person in the future. This is a challenge that we all have to face once in while.

I know that there must be a whole lot of people who are in jail who are much "sicker" than Paris and they have to stay and suffer. I do not understand our court system any longer. It definitely mollycoddles the rich and famous and it is wrong. I am convinced more than ever now that she is a spoiled brat. I just hope that next time she doesn't get out early after killing someone with her drunk driving because she's "sick".

Personally, I never cared much for Paris Hilton. I think the lady flaunts her wealth and being an average person, I don't think that is a nice thing to do. If this had been me, or any of my freinds, we would still be in there. I mean, it was a DUI and here in Ohio, they take that pretty seriously. I am not a bitter person, but it proves the judicial system can be manipulated, if you are rich and famous. I mean look at the track record of some of the famous celebrities, that have been in trouble, and how they got off:

OJ Simpson-on trial for a double murder (aquitted)
Michael Jackson-on trial for molestation (aquitted)
Robert Blake-on trial for murder (aquitted)

Now, Paris. Convicted of drunk driving, sent to do time, and released after 72 hours.

There you have it. I know it's just my opinion, but I am pretty sure, I ain't alone.

It started out at a year, then it got knocked down to 46 days, then the judge said she had to serve the time in jail...he would not allow house arrest, probation or community service. He demanded she serve her time in jail. Then she rang up the Terminator (governor of CA) and suddenyl its knocked down to 23 days. 3 days into her term "she was so cooperative and she had a medical condition" so now she is on house arrest for 40 days.....oh no..... what ever will she do in a multi million dollar house, with her Sidekick and swimming pool?? In a nutshell I think it is bull. Any normal human being would have had to serve the time. And I will put money on the fact that not only will her house arrest not last, she will be back on the road driving again in no time...probably with a Cosmopolitan in each hand. If I only had millions of dollars....

she was convicted of driving with a suspended license. she should have been offered house arrest from the start. the judge was trying to make an example out of her. it was her first probation violation for her first crime DUI. and her violation was for driving while suspended. if you've ever had to deal with courts before than you should know they were pretty hard on her. but who cares..

Boo hoo!!! Why don't we all cry and get sent to a ritzy mansion where everything can be brought to us. After all, how could she survive when she can't get her $200 manicure each day. Life's so hard for her, its sickening.

What's done is done, it wasn't right or fair to those that have to complete their sentences. We have to accept that she comes from money and her family is powerful.
