Someone came up to me when I was preggers, lifted up my moo shirt, and said..
"Would you mind squirting me all over my face with those enormous Juggs?"
I was mortified.

My mother in law said: "You're pregnant? Have you considered your other options?"
I responded with: "This is OUR baby. There are NO other "options"."
A stranger in a grocery store said: "You poor thing. Its so hard to raise a baby when you are still in highschool and single" ( I guess I looked young for my age. I was nearly 20 at the time, and out of highschool for 3 years. I am married, and was at the time as well, but was too swollen to wear my ring. It really annoyed me that she just looked at me and assumed that I was not only a high-schooler, but also that I was single!)
I responded just by telling her my age and marital status, and that she shouldnt be so quick to judge next time. It makes one look ignorant and inconsiderate.
I worked at starbucks at the time. I got a handful of dirty looks (again, I suppose because i looked younger than my age) And a few people asked what grade I was going to be in, and if I planned on finishing highschool.
Oh, and my MIL also insisted that I was so "huge" that i must certainly be having twins, or farther along than my doctor said i was.
-sigh-

"Are you going to deliver vaginally?"
"Was the baby planned?"
These both asked more than once by complete strangers (like in the check-out line of the supermarket!) I was too shocked to respond very well.
You'll also get rather personal questions from co-workers and acquaintances, but I think you have to let those go. People just seem to unintentionally cross the line when it comes to pregnancy.

I haven't had that (thank goodness). But when I announced I was pregnant at work a female coworker said "I knew something was up because you are getting big". I just said "thanks a lot" and walked off. I'm not quite sure why people think it's ok to tell a pregnant woman, who is already overly-hormonal, that she's big.

Congrats to you AND hubby for not sluggin' the ignoramus!
I have no idea why people feel free to say or do what ever they want to pregnant ladies....
For me it was "Time to get her some fatso clothes and get you a mistress" said to my SO by a guy he went to high school with.
I walked away, I didn't hear all of what my SO said back but it started with "That's the woman I love, carrying our child..."

While it's inappropriate, what the man said really isn't rude. It's just odd.
I was 8 months pregnant, and someone said "oh! You're pregnant? I just thought you were fat." I brushed it off though. Not enough to worry about.
My sister-in-law has made my current pregnancy torture though. Everytime someone asks about the baby, she rolls her eyes and says "sure, ask the tramp who got knocked up" EVEN THOUGH I married her brother AND she was the one who had f*ck buddies! GRRR.

someone said when I was only 5 months pregnant, "your so big, you must be having twins"(I wasn't) I was too stunned to say anything, I just walked away, but if it happened again I would tell the person that, that was a rude thing to say

My mother-in-law has had many greatest hits during my pregnancy....I saw her a few weeks ago and she said "My are we getting puffy...I didn't see it until today!" I might add that I could still see my cheekbones and anklebones on this particular day. People are just rude...God forbid if your fingers swell up a bit and you can't fit your wedding ring on...those dirty looks are the best! Congrats and keep your head up!

A former co-worker said to me "Did you swallow a basketball?" - I just glared at her. I guess I got the last laugh because she never lost her baby weight. I lost my baby weight within the first 6 weeks after delivery.

omg!! that is terrible!! no one has really said anything rude to me, but people always attempt to touch my belly. i hate that! a little girl came up to me the other day and said "what are you naming your baby" and her mother was like "that's rude, you don't know if she's pregnant" and the little girl said "mom i know the difference between fat and pregnant!". i was kind of shocked...guess her mom thought i was fat, lol but no one as rude as your situation!
