Hi! I have to do a powerpoint presentation for my computer class at school but I don't have the slightest clue how to do that! I tried asking my office asistant (I like the robot, he's cute!) but that was incredibly useless! I have microsoft word and at my school i also have excel and sumtin else. I'd assume you use word, but how? Thanks!

Go to "Start"
"Programs"
Here's where it gets trickey...
Some computers have MicrosoftOfice, but some have all of them as seprate files, go to the one that you have.

The rest is self-explanatory, if you can read.

Acvtually, PowerPoint is its own program, just like Excel and Word. And just like those, it comes from Microsoft, so some things will seem easy because they'll work similarly.

But there are big differences, too. Where Word is built to pour text on a page and Excel puts numbers in boxes, PowerPoint puts whatever in whatever specific place you want on each page. Bulleted text, pictures, clip art, shapes, whatever.

If you're just putting bullets on a page, then you'll be fine. Follow the instructions at startup and start typing text into the box that you see on the first page.

If you need to do more, then get help from someone local who can walk you through it in person.

Good luck!

No you use a program called power point. CLick on office and go to powerpoint, then go to the tutorial. Basically it is a series of slides that you use to display your basic points of a presentations the rest is you verbally.. It is an effective tool and once you get the basics it is very user friendly. Sorry cannot give you a detailed step by step instruction on this, it would take hours, easier for you to just open the program and go from there

The best way i learned is hack away at it with book in hand.

PowerPoint is a fairly simple software to use.

I know this is not the most comfortable answer but with trying out different things you learn quicker than you thought you could.
Also try this i just found and see if this helps.

I ask for help from one of my Ladies in Waiting. It gives them something to occupy their time.
