i came to the conclusion that regardless of what girls say, 90% of them want an asshole...that saying nice guys finish last is very true when it come to 90% of women out there. you can be nice and treat her like a princess but you can not let her run over you. the key is to put her in her place every once in a while and check her. be very nice the rest of the time but not a pushover. this will let her know YOU'RE the man and have confidence.

Because women want to be with an equal and the ones that treat them like crap treat everyone like crap.
The men who treat them like princesses are reduce to being their servant.
Be willing to share your happiness, but think for one moment its you job to MAKE them happy.

Where i made up my "avatar" in Yahoo, the options were severely limited. I saw nothing available that looks very much like me, so I just chose the closest things I could find to the way I really do look. Yes, I have VERY small eyes, and I chose the smallest ones available, but my own are smaller still. The mouth is way too big, too, but again, a smaller one was not offered. The hair is wrong, but there was nothing resembling my own hair style and color, but I do have a hat like the one I put on the avatar, so that much looks moderately authentic, at least. I do see some other people's avatars with features I did not see offered where I created mine, though. Is there another site for this with more options? I have actually toyed with the idea of drawing one, myself, that really DOES look like me and then scanning it in and posting it as if it were a photo.

Because they give into loneliness and settle for the first man who shows them affection. Most of those types of women are so afraid of loosing him and being alone that they will put up with anything. Besides we are taught not to stand up to bullies, but to negotiate with them. That kind of man is a bully. If we changed our mentality and started telling people to stand up to Bullies, then there would be a huge difference. Strong women don't let men treat them like crap and they don't treat men like crap either.

Unfortunately, men NEVER stop thinking with their "lower brain" - some of us do learn how to grow up though...

(But there are enough creepy 45 year old guys out there who still treat women that way to back up my point)

Getting back to the original question - a lot of it has to do with hormones (especially pheremones). The female instinct is instantly attracted to the most "dominant" male - who will be able to "protect her" and "provide for her (hunt)". In our modern world, these have been replaced by the "bad boys" and the "players".

Deep down, we aren't that different from all the other animals... It is human intelligence that sets us apart. Women today are able to overcome their primal urges, and "select a mate" who will treat them well (by our modern standards).

Some choose to ignore their senses for the sheer rush - while others can tune out their instincts completely.

no woman chooces a guy that treats her like crap. the guy starts by treating her like a princess, then they treat us like crap. so don't put it on the woman, you men are the one that are fake in your intentions, cause u know if u show the real u, some of u would never have a woman. but u see if you were for real then things would be easier, because everyone has different taste, wants and needs, but you guys prefer to risk everything, and then possibly go to jail because you just don't know much of anything to do with a woman, instead of asking you go on and act like jerks and treat as low as you think we deserve to be treated because after we find out how you really are and want nothing to do with you then you call us names, hurt us physically and the game goes on, and on. So on behalf of all women do us a favor if you got nothing GOOD, to bring to the table at ALL times. leave us alone.

I think you may be looking at the wrong girls.
If you are genuinely nice, have a well-rounded life, know how to carry on a 2-way conversation, etc. then the "right" girls should like you.
Girls don't want friendly, overbearing stalkers who always call or bring gifts. It's too much. Do you try to make the girls the center of your universe too soon...big turn-off. Make sure you have other outside interests to keep you busy too.

Well, the guys that treat us like "crap" usually spend more time with us--even when its not QUALITY TIME...The guys that treat us like Princesses usually don't spend much time with their women...They just send her off to shop alone or go to the spa alone with their money--excluding himself....The guys who treat their ladies like Princesses spend more time working and usually have a little more or much more money (to fund the Princess) and ASSume that money is supposed to be a great substitute when he's working extremely long hours while we're missing him and wish we had a man by our side but instead get only money (which is nothing compared to having the man himself)...Money talks, but not that loudly.

AMEN!!! I think they like the challenge. The jerks act sweet when they're alone and I think that the women see what they think is a chance to change this monster into a prince charming and of course it never seems to work. Then, the nice guy is just too easy to walk all over. There's no challenge. The saying IS true......nice guys ALWAYS finish last!

from a womens pt of view most women get men that are just like their fathers who treat their mothers like crap most of the time some women feel like they are not worth having that nice guy that they cant do better
