when we look in the front of a spoon, why are we always upside down, not matter which way you turn it, n why not when you look in the back???

The inward curve of the spoon is CONCAVE and on the other side, the outward curve is CONVEX.

Light hitting the concave side is reflected inwards (converging) towards the centre. At the point where the light rays cross, is the FOCAL POINT of the 'mirror'.
Outside of this point, the rays are widening (diverging), the crossing action of the rays produces the inverted image.
If you are inside the focal point, nearer to the spoon, the image is not inverted. (Try it with the tip of a pencil moving it inwards and outwards slowly).

On the convex side, reflected light rays are always diverging (getting wider). The image is not inverted.
(Believe it or not but, the focal point of the convex side is, as you're looking at it, on the other side BEHIND the image..

Without drawing facilities here, it's impossible to diagrammatically explain.

The part of the spoon where you are upside down is a concave mirror, in concave mirrors all images are upside down. The other end is a convex mirror and in those mirrors everything is right side up. It is difficult to explain the reason without a diagram but think of it this way. The light that bounces off the bottom of your face hits the mirror at the bottom, then hits it again at the top, where it bounces off again and your eye detects it. The opposite happens at the top of your face.

Since the spoon is curved in, the light from you gets bent and crosses a few inches in front of the spoon.

The back of the spoon is curved out, so the light does not cross.

You are beyond the focus of a concave mirror so the image is inverted. On the back it is a convex mirror which behaves differently.

It is your reflection, so it is reversed.
