My key ta my heart

1) if you're going to saddle a child with a name, at least make sure it's gramatically correct.

2) KEET isn't a terribly attractive sound

3) It looks made up. People with obviously made up names are (statistically ... there are exceptions to this rule) thought of as being less intelligent than people with non-made up names. It's sad, but true.

Now, if you'd like something with the same sentiment, maybe you can try something my friend did;

consider using the first name/middle name combo, or having two daughters named, Cara and Mia; caramia means "my beloved" in spanish.

When you say it stand for my heart that would really mean something to you and your child for the rest of your lifes, but I am sorry VERY tacky.

It's beautiful!!! And no, it's not tacky. If you like it, go with it and explain to your daughter at an early age what her name stands for. How special will she feel that you named her after your own affection?! In the end, who really cares what people think-you are going to name her what you want to.

I think it seems really cute now, but if you are already having doubts about it just imagine that your daughter will have that name her whole life. By naming her a beautiful name that doesn't sacrifice her comfort (having to explain it all the time) and one that sounds lovely, you are giving her a wonderful and personal gift. Not everyone that knows her is going to be able to acknowledge that her name sounds odd because it has a double-meaning. Give her a name she can be proud of. Besides, (with the letters) it reminds me of Mosquito and Muskrat.

The idea and essence of what you're trying to do is sweet, but the end result is tacky.

Very tacky...please don't saddle a child with that name. Find a different name!

Sorry, but do you really want to label your child with a name she will be explaining for the rest of her life? The meaning is nice, but 99% of the people she meets will have no clue of that meaning. How would you like it if you had to constantly spell, pronounce, and explain your name to everyone you meet?

he'll probably be called Mike for short, if this is a girl, probably the same. and I can hear the kids saying stuff like. Mykeeta booger

The worse childs name I ever heard was Jailin, or Jaylin. If this is yours too, I think you picked another bad name.

If you give your child a name that requires telling a story every time someone hears it, you might find that you get bored with retelling it after a while. It also might not seem quite as cute when she is older. Just some things to consider.

It also sounds like "parakeet" and "my #$%" as though she's referring to her *****.

Anyway, the phrase is THE key to my heart. Not MY key to my heart. So it could be thakeeta. Or Dakeeta if you're really ghetto.
