All of the Sesame Street gang and Muppets show hold a special place in my heart. Oscar and Snuffalupagus(?) and the Count and Beeker...but Kermit still makes me smile and laugh like a kid.

Of course those little guys in Team America were hilarious too, but that's a whole different genre!

Never liked Kukla, Fran and Ollie. That was so old fashioned. I was brought up on Sesame Street so I still have a soft spot for Kermit and company. Jim Henson's death was one of the first time's a celebrity dying affected me personally. I felt he really contributed something positive to the world.

EDIT: I just saw an earlier post about the "Yip Yip Martians." They were great, with those weird pouchy mouths. :D

I like "Bear" from Bear in the big blue house. Jim Henson really left us a legacy of wonderful characters! Didn't he? I was a puppeteer for a few years and did kids shows in Chicago. Now I run a daycare in a health club. Kids are so much more intelligent than we give them credit for! And, the best way to view this is thru allowing them to put on puppet shows! We have lots of puppets, and the kids put on the funniest skits!

This is a cute question! I had a "crush" on the guitar player Muppet with the hat, blue hair, couldn't see his eyes, silly I know but hey I was 5! So he's my favorite!
My husbands favorite was the kitty backstage on the Muppet Show. He says he used to love to try to find the kitty. It was always there, but always in a different place.
Thanks for asking, that was fun!
