I instructed her not to talk to that guy down at the gym but she did. So I took her car and stereo away and told her she wouldn't get it back till she behaved. Is there anything else I should do?

Okay. I will not be harsh, because I think you are probably joking. You see, you can't possibly think you can tell your woman who she can and can't talk to. That is ridiculous. Do you really think that you are the only guy that she should ever talk to? She is not allowed to have friends? And is she a child that she has to do exactly as you say, or you'll take away something she likes? Are you serious?
Keep this up, and you will find yourself by yourself.

First of all, what gives you the right to think that you control your wife?She has equal rights to you in todays society buddy!
try treating her with the same respect that you want to recieve and then maybe just then the two of you can begin to build a better life of understanding and communication with each other for yourselves. In a marriage or any relation that is to succeed, you both must share in everything that involves your marriage and that includes decisions.
It's time for you to grow up and be a man!

Your behavior is not the right one, man... All right, she is also not doing the right thing flirting with that boy, but you are running the wrong strategy...
Try to talk to her, be a kind man like she has never seen you before... Now go straight to her and give her the car's key! Or much better: Organize a special day for she and show her your redefined style.
Never try to be a macho even if you are! Be hot in bed, be constant, be always nice like a real gentleman... ;-)
Do exactly like I told you and she will remember why she married you!

If she's not going to listen to you there's not much you can do outside beating the holy crap out of her, which I would strongly not advise. There are some who go for the spanking thing, not really my thing, but if you're for that sort of thing - well what you do is entirely up to you - personally I call it a prerequisite to spousal abuse with religious approval; not so smart and not so nice. It could be she's testing you, to see whether you mean it or not; some women do that sort of thing, you know test the waters. It could be, that it just might be wiser to back off, no use wasting your time on a loss cause. The bottom line is, if she's not going to obey you now, she most likely never will.

She is not a child, where you take some toys away and you think the lesson is learned. Sounds like your the baby... wa wa wa.. you'll never get a decent woman like that. I'm thinking if you want a submissive woman go to another country where they make women slaves and take the stereos and keys away. Not here, AMERICAN WOMEN fight back. Men like you will soon be gone.

Why in the world should she have to obey you? She's a human being and has a right to have her own life. You trying to control her and take away privileges is just going to drive her away from you. I don't know anyone that would want to be in that situation.

I think you need to really think about what you`re saying. I'm not a doctor but it sounds like you have a f*#king problem with trust. So if she told you not to speak to someone you will listen? You`re wife needs to leave yo dumbass for all this telling her to obey you blows up in yo face.

It's interesting that a person in answering
your question so-called quoted from the
Bible......... even if was taken completely
out of context..... Ephesians 5:22......"Wives,
submit to your husbands....." Eph. 5 : 25.......
"Husbands, love your wives......." Eph. 5:28....
"......husbands ought to love their wives as
their own bodies. He who loves his wife
loves himself." Eph.5: 33......."...each one
of you must love his wife as he loves himself,
and the wife must 'respect' her husband."
Now, I have never seen ANYTHING, any where
in the Bible that says for 'husbands' to 'own'
your wife. IF the Bible is going to be used
as an argument tool, then get it right.
Now then, as for your insecurities....because
that's exactly what you're displaying here. You
obviously don't 'trust' your wife...but would
rather 'own' her and make her bow to your
little whims.
The best you could do for the both of you
is get a divorce and set her free.....and as
someone suggested....get a puppy.

I'm assuming that your wife is a human being.
Do her a big favor.
Take her to the YMCA--they have a gym, meals, and a bed.
Then start with a fresh new wife--a female puppy from the pound.
She will obey you, love you unconditionally and ignore the fact of your Neanderthalism.
