Johnny Horton would still have been great if he had never gotten into that car accident?

Absolutely. It was unfortunate to lose him so quickly, but his career was sky rocketing. I believe if he were still alive he'd probably be still cranking them out, or at the very least would of had a few more hits to retire on.

he was great , but it is a totally diferent country music now.

He was a good singer but all so a racists, I think he hated all colors of people.
