There is someone sending out mails saying they are from yahoo and that you have won $1.000.000 in their lottery. Please ignore it because I have been in touch with Yahoo and they have said it is a scam using their name. I know this is not a question but I dont want anyone to fall for it.

I get e-mails every single day, telling me about all the $$$$ I have won! HA! If all that were true, I'd be richer than Bill Gates by now!!!

It's all just a scam, and I ignore it.

This is not the only scam! Watch out for employment offers - where cheques are made payable to you which you then bank and deduct 10% and pay to a third person. Also fortunes left to you through African companies.

Thank you.

Although its quite ironic that many people have raised this question, its has taken a member of the public to research it and provide an answer to all that use this forum.

Why isnt Yahoo addressing this issue and alerting the public?

Hi sensual, just to let you know there's a lot more than the group you refer to doing these scams. So far i would have been a muti millionaire if they were all for real. I dont even open them now just delete them.
