The chicken. Nothing was born until after the fall of man, chickens were created on the 5th day with all the other birds and fish. After the fall of man women had to endure birthing pains as well as hens I'm guessing. Thus, the first eggs came into the world.

the only thing that makes sense is that the chicken came first, now dont go off on me about the evolution and creation thing , im talking about common sense here.I was raised on a farm and my experiance with chickens and eggs is that without a chicken to set the egg it wont hatch. without two chickens the egg will not contain another chicken.
a hen can lay eggs all day long but without a rooster there are no baby chicks.so common sense says there had to be at least 2 chickens to begin with.

This question is easily answered by common sense. When God created the universe, the earth in it, and all the animals on the earth, he didn't just leave a bunch of eggs lying around, waiting to be hatched. No, He created on the spot chickens, ducks, alligators, snakes, etc, and all the other animals that don't come from eggs.

First of all, the question does not mean an actual egg, it means when chickens were created.
So obviously the chicken came before the egg because without the chicken the egg would not survive

Obviously the egg. Some mutated turkey 2 squillion years ago laid a mutated egg that hatched into a chicken, which laid normal chicken eggs.

Exactly, reptiles and other birds laid eggs before the appearance of chickens and if you include eggs without a durable outer shell, fish laid eggs eons before reptiles or birds.
