If the Lions or Raiders were smart, they would get him...but they're not...so they won't...

If anybody takes him it will probably be a team with a young up and coming QB that needs guidance from a veteran. The Raiders, Browns, and the Lions fit this bill. Daunte is not a starting QB, but he is a solid veteran who can teach, and he is still a serviceable back up.

NO!!!! i am a lions fan, so i know the lions. they have jon kitna, who is getting old, but he can be the mentor for DREW STANTON. he isn't amazing, but mike martz can make anyone into a great quarterback. trust me the lions are not interested in daunte culpepper. if he comes back the the nfc north, it would be to his old team, the vikings (worst qb situation in the nfl). why have daunte right now if all he can do is rehab. he would just cause controversy with the lions. they don't even need him. i see him either goin back to minnesota or going to oakland to mentor jamarcus russell. maybe baltimore too.

Why not.
May help the team.
But they must get rid of Mat first then worry about the field team
they are going no where fast with Mat at the helm

The biggest thing with Duante is his knee. He came back early last year and re-injured it and missed the lasr of the season. If I'm Duante, I'm looking at a team with a good offensive line.

well I don't think he is going to the lions because they have Jon Kitna and Drew Stanton. I think that he will go to the Texans because first you don't have good backups, second of all if Matt Schuab gets injuried, they have who will they put in?, and third of all is Matt schuab a good starter

He is not going to the Lions, he is porbably done but maybe you could see him going to Oakland for insurance on the kid from LSU.
