sometimes it depends...it really doesn't hurt to ask because sometimes great responses come back to you and they really help you out. on the other hand, some people answer sarcastically or rudely so that's the bad part. but I don't think questions like "am I ugly" (I've found like a zillions questions like that) should be asked because that can really shoot you down if they answer sarcastically.
that's just my opinion

What questions is life likely to ask? YA is a great forum to scan the span of opinions (for that is what is on offer). Ultimately you need real people to interact with and we are only 2D not 3D. The great voids on the YA section is the sight of the person's eyes and the sound of their voices. So by all means share but use your own reasoning to check out these opinions. We can all be wrong at times, particularly when driven by passions and having had the same experiences as the Questioner. So best to use it along with any number of other sources of information and friends and colleagues.

it sure helps me weigh out my options. remember, these are all just opinions, mainly based on our own personal experiences. in the end, you hv to decide for yourself on what to do.
