Last week my computer crashed and the company was able to fix it but I had lost all of my favorites that I saved. Does anyone know how I can get them back? I have a Dell XP.
Thanks!
Krysti

open explore and under documents and settings (in the master account) or your name if you are not the main account xp sometimes will create another folder or there might be a temp folder created that the info might have been saved to. I usually store my address book and favorites on line so I can access them from any computer or in this case to restore after a crash. Yahoo has a onlined storage that is free I believe it hold 150 megs. I needed a lot bigger site and there are a lot of good pay sites.

If they just repaired your operating system, the file should still be there.

If ALL your other files are gone, they've reformatted your hard drive. Your favorites are gone too. Make it a habit to always backup important files.

Nope. Once they're gone, they're gone for good. In this case, there is no possible way to undo this.
