For wanting to keep my paycheck so I can give to charities I deem worthy, can you admit that you are greedy wanting to take it away from me to give to charities you deem worthy?

I would love to see communities and families having the care of their members once again.

ill-trix, my property taxes, and cold hard, out-of-pocket cash pay for school. The Fed imposes rules on the schools, then gives $$ to implement them.

Its sort of like the "click-it or ticket" campaign. The Feds say, make a seat belt law and we'll give your state $$$. NH has declined: GO NH: Live free or die. Amen

I guess I'm greedy too.

Wow! What a question. I think you meant, as in, the US government takes a ton of our money doesn't think twice about it. They never ask (or care) if we believe in their charities. (the poor, the poor, the poor, that is what they say anyway)

I am quite convinced, all the charities of the world would be better off if we could keep more of our money.

NOT GREEDY. SELECTIVE.

that wouldn't be greedy?

can someone buy Republicans a dictionary... or even a Bible...

it lays it all out pretty well...

but your complaint would more likely fall under the "life isn't fair" category... and if everyone would have donated to charity in the first place... there wouldn't be a need for welfare...

Yes.
The Democrats Want your Paycheck. Then they will decide who gets your money.

(And that's how Democrats buy votes with our Paychecks.)

simple answer yes. Because none of the money we give actually goes to a good cause.

That's fine, but that means no more school for you or your children, no more going to the park, no more going to the public library. No more trash pickup, you have to take it to the dump yourself. No more clean water. No more street cleaning in front of your home. No more calling the cops if you find yourself in need of security and no calling the fire department if your house is on fire. Only taxpayers get these services. Go ahead, sweetheart, give to all the charities you want.

Your perspective in solid. That is how help is supposed to come to the needy; not through extremely inefficient government programs.
